Hi Bill,
I am listening to the second installment (and so far, last) of your podcast.
I really like it because it has some good music (whole works, not just excerpts) and provides useful insight on some parts of history in music which are little known. Usually the music is slightly more popular then the people who made it. It is quite easy to buy CD's but it is not that easy to read or hear about classical music in a meaningful way.

I hope you will come out soon with other podcasts of the same kind.

Take care

French Connections end: made me hungry!
Enjoyed "Bad Boys" just as much and am now curious about Shostakowich and "his" jazz music!
(Heard a long-winded intro to a good piece by him on BR4 (yawn!:-) some years back, but would not mind getting back to knowing more about it! (Russian music guys are "my" favorites, sorry!:-). Bavarian greetings from Edmonton without a famishing restaurant clue!:-).
